First workout after Christmas

I've just completed my first workout after Christmas and am now heading out for a run. As much a I would have enjoyed a white Christmas having weather like today is perfect for a run. I don't know how far I'm gonna go but it will feel wonderful and that's all that matters.

UPDATE to come later today of everything I did during my workout and how far I ran. :)

Great interval training run; ran 1.8 miles before my left foot started to hurt. I can't wait to go out with my aunt on Monday evening to get new running shoes.

Today's Workout:
  • 50 Squats
  • 50 crunches
  • 30 second Plank (on elbows)
  • 20 pushups
  • 2 sets of 15 reps each bench press 30 lbs (on weight bench)
  • 2 sets of 15 reps each 25 lbs bicep curl (on weight bench)
  • 2 sets of 15 reps 25 lbs leg raise (on weight bench)
  • 2 sets of 15 reps 20 lb kettle bell deadlifts
  • 2 sets of 25 reps 20 lb kettle bell single arm side stretch to floor
  • 2 sets of 25 reps of leg raises (on floor)
  • 1.8 mile interval training run
Tonight I will probably take a walk while the kids are at swim team practice.
