About a month or so ago Zoey and I went fabric shopping and she picked out some of the cutest combinations of fabrics for my Lazy Susan Covers.
Well here is my latest creation!
I'm getting better at making these and am really enjoying myself! I will probably quilt more of the eggs to give it more of a quilted look.
The back, I didn't take a picture, is jelly beans and Easter eggs.
I think the family is enjoying seeing these different designs as much as I am enjoying making them!
There's enough fabric left that I think I'm going to make a quilted runner for the coffee table.
I think I have some leftover Elsa and Anna fabric; maybe I'll make a "Frozen" one and see how long it takes Zoey to notice.

Lazy Susan Covers!!!!!!!
I have a painted Lazy Susan on my kitchen table and love it. But I have found that I enjoy making covers for it for each of the holidays. I made one for Christmas and now have one for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day. And since Easter is right around the corner I'll be making on for Easter too!
I'll be working on the Easter one next! Zoey picked out the fabric for that one too! You'll never guess, HA HA HA, but everything she picked out has glitter on it!
This one is the same on both sides. I was trying something different for the binding which is why it is a bit wavy. I enjoyed how this turned out and I think everyone in the family is having fun with the covers.
Zoey went with me to get the fabric for some more lazy susan covers. As a matter of fact she picked out the fabric for several of them. Here's top and bottom of the St. Patrick's Day Lazy Susan cover. I think she did an awesome job picking out fabric!
It was Chuck's idea to put a 4 leaf clover of the top of the cover. It's not perfect but that is what I love about quilting. None of my projects are perfect, but they are fun!

Baby Lux's Quilt
Alison and I made this quilt in record time! We shopped, designed, and sewed this top together in about 2 days. Then as Alison made the quilt sandwich and completed the binding (I suck at bindings) I made the bag. This is a super cute bag and I can't wait to make more of these (especially for my little kiddos).

Quilt, bag, pillow, and card for Sara's little girl
Alison, Richelle, and I decided to make a complete matching set for our friend and coworker Sara when she was having a little girl. I think it turned out fantastic! I made the quilt, Alison did the bag, and Richelle made the pillow. The night before the shower I decided she needed to have a handmade matching card to go with it. So I made a card to match everything!
Nadia's Quilt
I made this quilt and matching pillow and bag for my niece's baby girl, Nadia. Once I learned how to do applique I have wanted to do it on every quilt I make. At this same time I gave Alyssa the quilt my mother had made for her from a dream mom had had. Mom has been gone for many years but I knew that I was meant to keep this quilt for Alyssa until she had a little girl of her own. The tears that streamed down her face when she opened the quilt my mom made was well worth me holding onto it for all these years. I know that my mom was watching down from heaven with tears as well.
Richelle & Jeff's Wedding Quilt
My friend Alison taught me how to make a Bargello quilt while we worked together making Richelle & Jeff's Wedding Quilt. I just love how this quilt turned out! Thanks Alison for teaching me one of the coolest designs I have seen.
What was supposed to be a queen size quilt fits my king size bed perfectly!
Richelle, when she opened the quilt at her Bridal Shower!
Alison and I put a tag on the back of the quilt.
Alison used her quilting machine to quilt a cool design on it......wish she still had this machine.

Jesse's Mickey Quilt
Jesse's Mickey Quilt is finally finished. It was a labor of love, but I enjoyed ever painstaking minute of it. I truly felt many times over that mom was with me every step of the way making sure her grandson had the best bed quilt I could make. Thanks mom for helping me through this project!
Here's Jesse in bed with his quilt!

Quilting
Heather's quilt is done! YEAHH! However, I had a lot of problems with it. My sewing machine was acting up BIG time and I had to stitch and restitch several areas. Then my machine decided it pretty much didn't want to do anything so I wasn't able to do as much quilting as I would have liked. BUT, it turned out very nice looking. I hope she likes it. After the baby shower on the 10th I will post a picture of the quilt.

Heather's Baby Quilt
The quilt I am making for Heather's baby is coming along nicely. I should have the top just about done before Chuck gets home from work. YEAH!
