The Day After Christmas....

It's the day after Christmas and all through the house you hear the joy of laughter!

The Bown family had a wonderful Christmas. Everyone has enjoyed their gifts but most of all we got to spend the day with family.

I ate way too much yesterday and am paying the price for it today! So today I get myself back on track with eating right, exercising, and definitely back to my running!

I hope that everyone enjoyed their Christmas and is looking forward to the new  year. Do I have a goal for the new year? I don't know what the new year will hold for me. But I am setting some goals for myself.

Bown Family 2013 Christmas Card

Our Christmas Card this year turned out fantastic! I absolutely LOVE it! Sometimes I wonder how I am going to top my card from last year and well I always do.

As always the card has a tree on it. I just have to have a Christmas Tree on my Christmas card each year.

I wanted it to look like the kids were looking from behind the tree and I think I accomplished that very well.

Christmas 2009

Christmas was a lot of fun as usual at our house. Although getting thrown up on twice all before we opened gifts was not my ideal Christmas morning we still had a great time!

Chuck's mom came over around 9:30 and then the Willi gang came over around 3:30. Even though we made more food than we have in the past it felt like a quiet relaxing day!

The next day we went to my Aunt Karen's house for the Garside Family Christmas party and my niece Angel's 12th birthday party. Everyone had a great time.

"Oh Elmo Sock, pretty"

As Jesse and I walked down the stairs this morning Jesse turns and says "Oh Elmo sock, pretty" and keeps going down the stairs! We don't have any good places to hang our stockings so we hang them at the top of the stairs on the railing. It looks nice there. I tried to explain that it was a stocking and what that meant. But Jesse just looked at me, slightly tilted his head, smiled, and said "Elmo sock pretty". LOL! Oh he melts my heart!
