FatSecret Post 10/04/10

So last night was a bust on behaving myself. Being post-pardum and trying to lose baby weight as well as years of weight gain isn't easy and well we all fall off the wagon.

I made a great pumpkin pancake recipe this morning from theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com. I just love her recipes. For a meal and just getting back on track 25 carbs may seem like a lot but I have found that I need more carbs than 20 a day.

I had done Atkins WAY back when (almost 10 years ago now) and I was a mean *itch when only eating 20 carbs a day. SOOOO, I'm going for 50 carbs a day and I'm going to see how it works.

My goal is to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 227 by the 15th of October (which is my next OB appointment). I want to show my doctor as well as myself that I can get this weight off. If I make that goal I will have lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks (since my baby girl was born).

Since it is raining again (has been for several days) I am going to start using Wii Fit again today. Hopefully I can remember how to turn the whole set up on (my techie hubby has a strange setup that I can't always figure out) and get in a work out before our 2 y/o comes home from daycare. Otherwise it will have to wait until after he goes to bed tonight.
