Octopus Minnie by Zoey

Zoey came home laughing hysterically from school on Friday. She says, at the highest pitch I think I've ever heard, "I made a mini octopus!".

Me: UMMM, what?????????

She says "You know a mini octopus!" You know what I'm trying to say mom, was the look I received.

Me: UMMM, what?????????

Zoey continues laughing as she STOMPS to her backpack. Then pulls out this picture, shoves it in my face, and says "SEEEEEE, I made a mini octopus!". She had to point out the bow before I realized what she was really trying to say.

Me: OOOOOH, you made a Minnie Octopus!

Zoey: "Yes! See the bow!"

Then she had to pose for a super cute Zoey picture!

Jesse informed me that in art class everyone was drawing Sea scenes. I was informed that he drew a "realistic scene and not a cartoon scene" but didn't bring it home. 

My kids crack me up!
