Jesse for example, has a tendency to rush through his work and not look back on his stories which results in careless mistakes. Zoey does the same thing, but also struggles with her spelling words, reading, and math.
We've been working on all of this as a family! With the long weekend, we worked on all of these areas and the kids were super proud to show that they got 100% on their assignments!
Jesse went back in the story and underlined the answer to the question and could even explain to me that the one answer was based on an entire paragraph. He said "I had to use deductive reasoning to figure it out, I'm fairly certain I got the right answer!" You bet you did!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zoey got all of her spelling words and high frequency words correct! Although not pictured she took a test on counting money from her Kumon book and got an 88%! When I explained that she forgot to add the pennies to two of her problems she replied "What's a few cents!" OH BOY!
I love seeing them proud of themselves!
