Zoey Update Catchups!

Sorry I have been so lax in putting Zoey updates on the blog. It's hard to keep both facebook and my blog up to date. But I am going to post everything on here today that I have been posting on facebook.

August 1st: I just read my discharge papers from the hospital that says "modified bedrest". Interesting, just what is that suppose to mean. And how am I suppose to go to work if I am suppose to be on bedrest. Strange! I'm gonna call the dr in the AM while I am at my NST to find out what I am suppose to be doing.

August 2nd:
My NST took twice as long as usual this morning. Zoey was not cooperating at all. I had several contractions but because the nurse was dealing with Zoey she didn't have the monitor for the contractions set properly.

August 3rd:
Zoey had me up a lot last night and I am not feeling too hot this morning. She is pushing down so hard I am in the bathroom constantly! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR! This little darlin' needs to calm down! Jesse woke up early this morning and came to snuggle in between Chuck and I. But I kicked him out shortly thereafter when he wo...uldn't stop kicking me! He went back to bed easily which was nice.

August 4th:
Miss Zoey had me in the hospital again last night! From Noon through 3:30 I was cramping horribly and had contractions and some intense pelvic pressure. Called the doc at 3:30, he called back at almost 5 PM. Had me come straight to the hospital. They were so busy I didn't get a bed and put on a monitor until 6 PM. By then the contractions had pretty much stopped.

Just got home from another trip to the hospital! UGH! Zoey wasn't moving this morning, she only moved twice from 5 Am to noon (when I saw the OB for my scheduled appointment). He sent me straight to the hospital for an NST. Once I laid down she started moving. Of course Joe (my favorite nurse at the hospital) said she ...was moving because all the ladies love him! LOL!

August 6th: Today is my first day in a week that I hopefully will be hospital free, doctor's visit free, and well I was hoping for cramping/contraction free (but those started early this morning). Time to get an ice cold drink and plop myself on the couch! I'm officially on maternity leave! WHOO HOO!

August 9th:
NST went well this morning; during my scan it showed that Zoey has moved lower and all we could see of her face was one lower cheek. This certainly explains my pelvic and hip pain. The bottles have been washed (Thanks Honey!) and are now put away. So we are one step closer to being ready for her arrival.

August 11th:
I didn't fall asleep until 4:30 AM this morning in the living room! GRRR! I slept until 6:30 when I heard Chuck getting up. I was able to go back to sleep from 7:30 (after Chuck and Jesse left) until 9:30. I am super tired but am in so much pain. Is it sad to say that if Zoey wants to come early she should just do it already. Momma is hurting!

August 12th:
Another NST down this morning, Zoey was quite the DIVA and made the nurse sit there trying to find her most of the time. Last night she was grinding her head against my pelvis and I was not happy! Just a couple of weeks to go (if she waits).
