Jesse's 1st ER visit

Yesterday I get a call from daycare around 3:20 PM saying Jesse got a hold of a cleaning bottle (half Lysol half water) and squirted himself in the eyes repeatedly. I called the pediatrician who said to take him immediately to the emergency room; so off to daycare to pickup Jesse then to the ER I had to go. When I got to daycare to get him he said to me "I got a bath!". It was very cute. Apparently the teachers told him he needed a bath so he didn't freak out when they had to wash his eyes out.

I spent 3 hours in the ER with Jesse last night. He thought the ER was a playground and oh man was it hard to keep a hold of him. The nurse needed help restraining him for the exam so she called in this very tall black guy (not sure if he was an orderly or not). Jesse took one look at him and smiled. He wasn't afraid of him like the nurse was hoping!

Luckily the ER doc didn't see any scratches on his eyes from the Lysol. Who knew that was abrasive!?!?! When we were getting ready to leave he got away from me and ran into another room before I could catch him. He threw back the curtain and said "HELLO!". Luckily everyone was nice about it and laughed. Jesse gave the nurse a hug and kiss when we were leaving. Word to the wise, don't go to the ER while pregnant with an active, very stronge, 2 y/o!
