Friday night I went out to pick up Chinese food for Chuck and I and this elderly woman ran right into the back of me. Luckily Chuck and Jesse were home.
I was stopped in front of the municipal building making a left turn. I was there for a while. I looked in my rear view and all I saw was a white car coming at me with no head lights on. She hit me going at least 45/50 MPH.
Needless to say her vehicle is totalled. The Durango took some damage on the bumper and some damage underneath. It is ok to drive and we will be getting an estimate to fix it this coming week.
I'm ok, went to the hospital Friday night to get checked out. Just a strained neck and shoulders. The doctor put me on muscle relaxers. She wanted to put me on strong pain killers but I can't take anything like that right now because of my surgery on Wednesday.
SO, needless to say I'm in pain. But am dealing with it the best that I can.
It was a long, busy weekend and I am going to bed here in a few minutes. I'm hoping I get a good long night's sleep.
I am just so thankful that it was only me in the truck and there wasn't a lot of damage to the Durango.
