This Sunday is Mother's Day, my first Mother's Day. I am very excited. I have waited a long time to be a part of this holiday. I'm a little worried that Chuck is forgetting that I get to be celebrated on this Mother's Day as well as his own Mother. I have had to remind him several times that Mother's Day is coming and that I'm a mother too!
He joked a week or so ago saying that he'll help Jesse make a card and steal some daffodils from the neighbors yard (like some kids do when they are kids). I loved the idea and thought it was great. I can't wait for Jesse to actually do that.
My friend Liz got a dozen roses delivered to her office today for Mother's Day for her husband two sons. It was so sweet! Of course, Chuck saw it and was like "AWW MAN!" Even though I am not a flowers person the gesture was awesome and I would love it for myself.
So we'll see what my hubby does.
