Taking care of the dogs with Jesse

This morning Chuck put the dogs out for me from the garage since I was already running behind schedule. After Jesse was fed I put him in his snowsuit and we both went out to take care of the dogs. As soon as I got to the dog's area they were so excited. They thought Jesse was a toy! They love plush toys. Of course, they love to rip them apart. Cody was sniffing Jesse's feet and Jesse was kicking his feet. I couldn't tell if he was happy or just didn't want Cody sniffing his feet.

As I am emptying the pitcher of water (excess) Cody decides to run under it and gets all wet. Immediately he starts getting ice on his coat. Now I have to find something to dry him off with. All of this is happening while Jada is now sniffing at Jesse's feet.

I get Jesse inside and find some paper towels. As I am trying to dry Cody off he decides the rub feels good and puts his but in my face. GREAT! He's decided he wants a but rub. So I finally get Cody dry and Jesse is not happy being inside.

SOOOO, I go back to get Jesse and head outside again to put the dogs in their kennel. At this point both Cody and Jada are sitting on the deck waiting patiently for a treat. It doesn't matter that they have a full bowl of fresh food, they want a treat! So a treat they got.

I finally get them down to their kennel and Cody now wants to play with Jesse. I truly think he thought Jesse was a toy for him.

It took 15 minutes but I managed to get the dogs done before Grandpop came to pick up Jesse.

What a morning, hopefully quilting goes well.
